1) Focus on sounds: There are two videos for each day reviewing a new sound. The first video explains the sound and the video to the left puts it all together. It is important that the student repeats the sound after they hear it. These sounds should be a review but it has been awhile since we last looked at them. Listen to the video and write some words using the attached word document. There are several examples of words in the videos. No need to go and look for them. Word document with space for words is located at the bottom of the list of videos.

2) Safety Unit: - Review video "Ma Protection à la Maison". (Attached here). Make sure to add any new rules to your rule document that you created last week. :) - Review Powerpoint : "Les substances dangereuses et les symbols internationaux" (sent via email) - Fill in Dangerous Substance worksheet (attached here). Example: Under "Inflammable" draw the symbol and write the description in the box to the left. 3) High Frequency Words: One Video for each day :) Here are some ideas or make up your own! - Make a word search with the new words/ or cross word - Use markers and make rainbow words - Write a story using all five words or write a poem - Write the words in chalk in your driveway or on a chalkboard - Spell the words in play dough - Spell the words with sticks, rocks or leaves in your backyard - Write the words using Lego pieces - Write the words using window markets on a window in your house (ask your mom or dad) - Write the word using magnetic letters or dry ease markers - Write the words using string |
