Hello parents, some of you were asking about tutoring. Here is the information for FREE tutoring. You do have to pay a $25 fee but you get $125 worth of tutoring.
Here is the email I received: Hi Andrea, There are a few ways we can help out when it comes to tutoring. First thing is that the parent(s) of the student(s) must be (a) current CPF NB member(s). The fee is $25 annually and they can register on our site www.cpfnb.org We can pay an individual to tutor a child outside of school hours to a max of 5 sessions or $125. Here is a link to our site where there is a little more information and link to the application form: https://www.cpfnb.org/free-tutoring Once we have approved the application we will then have the approved tutor report to us by submitting a form after each session. Once this form is submitted a payment is issued within 24-48 business hours. Good Morning, Thank you all for your patience during parent/teacher. We had no problems with technology! It was fantastic. Please don't be a stranger. If you want to chat, please reach out. It doesn't have to be parent/teacher to have a chat. If there is a problem in the classroom, I will reach out to you. Tomorrow is crazy hat day in support of Romero House. Here are some important updates: - Our class will be recording our Christmas Concert on Monday December 14th at 10:05am. This is not a live event but the school is trying to figure out a way to stream the performance to parents at a later date. If your child wants to wear something special for the Christmas concert, today (Dec.14th) would be the day. :) - I have recorded the words for this week. They are the same as last week. There is a spelling error. I think my keyboard was in English when I printed the lists. I have looked at all future lists and there are no errors. I do apologize. The word is Hier. Next week will be Christmas words and they will not be tested but practiced a lot in class. - December 17th is our "Santa's Workshop". For those who are new to IVS, each year our Home and School puts on an amazing day full of Christmas activities in the gym. Obviously, we can not do that this year. That being said, I have recreated the same events in our classroom. We will be making ornaments, Hot Chocolate playdough, playing math related Christmas games, etc. If you are planning to send anything in for students, this would be the day. (Only for parents who wish) - We have started our class Christmas float. The students picked a gingerbread theme. I will share photos when complete. Our float is on a small piece of wood (6in/16in) that will be pulled throughout the school on webcam. This will be a little virtual school parade for the students. :) - School photos should be in any day now. - December 18th: Last day for students and it is a full day. Hello parents,
Here are some update - Reports cards come out today. Please sign and return the envelope. - We have a Care Assembly (virtual) today at 10:30am. Congrats to Dylan Gould and Mayma Perrin, - Our elf has arrived. His name is Sugarplum. He is in elf isolation until December 11th. He gives us letters everyday. - I sent home letters that were sent to Santa. I just wanted parents to be able to see great work is going on and possible things Santa may bring. - Parent Teacher is this Thursday from 4pm-7pm and Friday morning from 9am to 12pm. I will contact you on Teams and hopefully 15 minutes is long enough. If not, we can have another meeting next week. - Yesterday I sent home some questions for parents and asked for 2 pictures. One picture of your child when they were a toddler and a current one. We are starting our unit on change and personal change is the first part. |
